Just one year ago, Netta Barzilai won our hearts with her song ‘Toy’ at last year’s Eurovision. She so endeared everyone with her talent, Eurovision is now coming to her home in Israel, back for the first time in twenty years!
 
Although the official final is happening on Saturday May 18, Israelis like to have fun, hence Eurovision Week!
 
It all begins Friday May 10 with the Eurovision Kabbalat Shabbat at the Tel Aviv port. Bring in the magic of Shabbat with a combination of old Shabbat piyutim sung to modern songs. Where else can you hear Lecha Dodi and ABBA together? This unique powerful event will be held as the sun sets into the sparkling Mediterranean. And entrance is free.

The rest of the week features parties, song and dance all night long in various clubs across Tel Aviv. Hear past Eurovision performers sing, dance to music by your favorite DJs, sing along at a karaoke marathon, go to drag shows – you may even see Madonna perform.
